Carey was 5'10 inches tall at the time she was a top model. The popularity of her was with American fashion designers Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren was very high. Her father was a prominent scientist and was named Scientist from 1979 by Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey traveled all over in honor of her father's efforts. When she was attending an institution called the University of Colorado at part-time and was able to catch the attention of the Ford model Agency representative in New York.
