He supported her musical career and they developed a strong working relationship that led to an intimate friendship. Fusari was the person who gave her the stage name Lady Gaga. Akon who knew Lady Gaga well and was her songwriter, heard her perform at a well-known occasion and offered her a contract with his record label Kon Live Distribution.
