Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician, who was a founding member of Motley's heavy metal group, is an American-Greek-American musician. As well as being the group's long-term drummer Lee founded rap metal band Methods of Mayhem and has explored solo projects. Lee is a strong supporter of animal rights and PETA. Lee has written Terry Prather, SeaWorld's president, in protest at Tilikum's treatment of Tilikum. Lee considered that the animal should be released . He also stated that SeaWorld will not permit it to happen since Tilikum is their primary donor of sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure at SeaWorld's incompetence and strange methods to obtain Tilikum fertile. Lee stated that he was hoping to avoid any more tragedies of trainers dying, since these tragedies had resulted from the whales' fear of being held in captivity.
